Product Introduction

1.Product introduction
Lithium slag dryer is the core equipment for dehydration and drying of waste slag ( lithium slag ) produced after lithium extraction from lithium ore such as spodumene and lepidolite. Lithium slag has the characteristics of high initial water content ( usually 25 % ~ 40 % ), fine particle size, high viscosity and strong corrosion. The dryer adopts a three-cylinder or single-cylinder structure. Combined with the high-temperature rapid drying process, the water content of lithium slag can be reduced to less than 8 %. The treated materials can be used in the field of resource utilization such as cement admixtures, concrete admixtures, brick and tile products, and mine filling materials. The equipment has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, anti-blocking, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is an ideal choice for lithium salt production enterprises and building materials supporting enterprises.
2.Working principle
Wet lithium slag is sent to the feed end of the dryer cylinder through a belt conveyor or a screw feeder. The cylinder is installed at a certain inclination angle ( 3 % ~ 5 % ) and driven by the transmission device to rotate at an appropriate speed. There are a variety of combined lifting plates on the inner wall of the cylinder. The lithium slag is continuously copied and scattered to form a uniform material curtain and increase the contact area with the hot air.
The hot air is produced by a hot blast stove ( which can use natural gas, coal, biomass or waste heat steam as a heat source ) and enters the cylinder from the feed end or the discharge end ( downstream or countercurrent mode ). The hot air conducts strong convective heat transfer with lithium slag, and the water evaporates rapidly. The water vapor produced by evaporation is discharged with the exhaust gas, and it is discharged after treatment by the dust removal system ( cyclone + bag or wet dust removal ). Lithium slag moves along the axial direction in the cylinder and undergoes three stages of preheating, constant speed drying and falling speed drying. Finally, it is discharged from the discharge end to obtain dried qualified lithium slag products.
According to the fine viscosity characteristics of lithium slag, a self-cleaning device and a special lifting plate structure are set up inside the dryer to effectively prevent the material from sticking and blocking, and ensure long-term stable operation.

Product Features

High efficiency, energy saving and high heat utilization. Optimized thermal design and thermal insulation measures are adopted to reduce heat loss. The structure of the lifting plate is reasonable, the residence time of the material is prolonged, and the evaporation intensity per unit volume is improved.
Wear and corrosion resistance, long service life. The cylinder adopts wear-resistant steel plate, lining anti-corrosion layer or corrosion-resistant material ; the key components such as the lifting plate and the sealing parts of the inlet and outlet ends are subjected to wear-resistant treatment to adapt to the corrosive environment of residual acid, alkali and salt in lithium slag.
The finished product has good quality and environmental protection. The discharge moisture can be accurately controlled, and the particle size is uniform, which is convenient for subsequent use. The system has good sealing performance, equipped with high-efficiency dust removal device, dust emission is lower than the national standard, and there is no secondary pollution.
Flexible fuel selection. It can be adapted to a variety of heat sources such as natural gas, pulverized coal, heavy oil, biomass particles, steam waste heat and so on. Users can choose it economically according to local energy conditions.
