The rod mill is often used as a grinding material equipment in the beneficiation process. The ore materials with various hardness are more delicate after treatment by the rod mill. In recent years, it has also been used in the sand making industry of construction sand.
The rod mill is driven by a motor to drive the gear rotation or by a low-speed synchronous TV through the peripheral gear transmission to drive the cylinder rotation. The cylinder body is equipped with an appropriate grinding medium steel rod. The grinding medium generates centrifugal force and friction force with the rotation of the cylinder. After being raised to a certain height, it is thrown off. The material enters the barrel and is crushed by the grinding medium to achieve the crushing and crushing effect. The rod mill can change the discharge particle size by simple adjustment, which is not available in other grinding equipment.
