Magnesite rotary kiln

1.Product introduction
Magnesite is a dominant mineral resource in China. As a carbonate mineral of magnesium, it is the main raw material for manufacturing alkaline magnesia refractories and extracting magnesium metal. Magnesite is mainly used for calcining light burned magnesia, sintered magnesia, fused magnesia and other refractory materials. At present, light burnt magnesite is mainly produced by rotary kiln equipment. The magnesite rotary kiln produced by our company is a special equipment specially designed for the calcination characteristics of magnesite. It has the advantages of simple structure, stable operation, large production capacity and good product quality, which can meet the production needs of different scales.

2.Working principle
After the magnesite is crushed and sieved to a suitable particle size, it is fed into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail ( high-end ) chute. The cylinder is installed at a certain inclination angle and rotates slowly under the drive of the transmission device. The material produces two kinds of motion in the cylinder at the same time : one is to roll along the circumferential direction, so that the material is heated evenly ; the second is to move slowly from the kiln tail ( high end ) to the kiln head ( low end ) along the axial direction.
The fuel is injected into the kiln from the end of the kiln through the burner for combustion, and the high temperature heat generated is transmitted to magnesite in various ways such as radiation, convection, and conduction. In the process of moving in the kiln, the material undergoes preheating, decomposition, firing and other stages in turn, and finally calcined into calcined white ( lightly burned magnesium oxide ), then unloaded from the kiln head device and entered the subsequent cooling and finished product processing process.
